The pains of RSS

Internet: Useful Tips: RSS In Plain English

So as we say goodbye to week three I feel much more confidant in my work this week I am finally starting to understand the importance of social bookmarking and having the ability to see your bookmarks from any computer all you need to do is log in. Also I have figured out the whole Net vibes thing and the fact that soon after I finish customizing it I may never need to view any web page again OK maybe just a little bit but you get the point. I do how ever have to say the lack of being able to use a free Yahoo account and have it show up kind of sucks but at least that's only one thing extra that I will have to do. OK I am going watch this video a couple hundred more times until I get this whole RSS thing down pact. Until next week safe reading all.

  1. Nick, I have to say that I got a laugh after I read that you figured out the whole Netvibes thing and you never have to look at another web page again. I had a bit of a hard time with the RSS at first also, but I think I'm getting a little better at it. It's a lot to learn and figure out in such a short amount of time, but you'll get it. We all will. I like how you have the RSS In Plain English right there at the very top of the page. It's kind of like saying everybody watch it and see how quick you can pick it up. I think it's harder trying to do stuff watching a video. I can pick up a lot of things while I'm viewing something, but I like having the facts and information sitting right in front of me so I can refer back to it at any time. Do you know what I mean? Well, I think you're doing a great job so far. Hang in there!
