Here are my two pictures one is taken standing about 6 feet over the tops of these artichoke plants the other is looking up from under the plants. They are two very different pictures of the same plant. the first picture shows the beauty of the plant and all it color and grace (it was really windy)you can see the textural difference between the flower pedals and the surrounding foliage. The other picture shows the lack of grace and beauty that the structural support of these massive flowers have. Also i notice that the first picture is full of texture many different focal points and the second picture set against the blue sky gives it an almost two dimensional feel there is no real depth to the picture.
